I always love an enquiry for a wedding at a venue I've not been to before. I think sometimes couples can be put off when a photographer admits they've not shot somewhere before, but, in reality, it should be the opposite, as a new venue always provides excitement and with a fresh pair of eyes the photographer often works to the best of his or her ability. This was definitely the case with me and Sarah and Richard's wedding at Great Fosters in Surrey. Great Fosters is an incredibly imposing luxury country manor with acres upon acres of landscaped gardens, woodland and water features; it really is a photographer's dream. 

As I chatted to Sarah, I soon learnt more about her and Rich's vision for the day - a unique 1920s approach that included a handmade wedding dress, incredible floral decorations and bouquets, and the best playlist.
